What is the Digital Jobs Program?

Technology continues to revolutionise the way we live and work. For businesses to thrive in a digital world, we need more people with digital skills for digital jobs.

The Victorian Government’s Digital Jobs program aims to build the state’s digital workforce by training and up-skilling mid-career Victorians so they can transition into digital careers.

The $64 million investment will support up to 5,000 Victorians, over three years, to re-skill and change careers. The participants will complete 12-weeks of industry-backed training followed by a placement in a digital role.

Each mentor will be assigned a mentee, with the key touchpoint being 3 x 1 hour virtual mentoring sessions within a 16 week period.
