About the program
The Work Readiness Program has been specifically designed to enhance the employability of students and graduates. The program ensures every individual gains relevant and valuable work experience in their chosen field across a diverse range of Australian companies.
The program offers a nationally recognised unit of competency that provides the skills and knowledge required to work effectively in business environments, including:
– Identifying and working to organisational standards
– Managing workload
– Working as part of a team
The program applies to those who work in a broad range of settings. These individuals typically work under some supervision and guidance.
OutcomeAcademy works closely with InternMatch. InternMatch matches students with global host companies to secure a 12-week fully insured internship. Internships are unpaid and are fully compliant with all Fair Work Australia laws and guidelines.

Structure
A blended mode of self-directed online learning including knowledge information, case studies, and workplace activities.
Unit of Competency
BSBOPS201 Work effectively in business environments
Fees
All other internships, upfront payment $2,000* or $2,200* on a payment plan
*All prices are in AUD and includes $600 course fee.
Training and assessment
Training and assessment are completed via the eSkilled e-learning platform and is supported by mandatory direct observation in the workplace completed during an individual’s internship.
Duration and Amount of Training
The expected duration for completion is 3-6 months, however, students will have up to 12 months to complete if required. The duration time is calculated from when a student is provided with online access to the self-directed and online assessment activities.
The course comprises of:
- 5-10 hours of online learning and assessment
- 12-week part-time industry internship (2 days per week)
Outcome
Upon successful completion of the program, students should have the ability to identify the business context, work in a team and develop effective work habits. Students who successfully complete the program will receive a Statement of Attainment for BSBOPS201 Work effectively in business environments and an Internship Completion Certificate.
