Let's Get your resume ready

Your resume is the first impression you’re providing to your next potential employer, so you want to make sure it’s a great introduction.

This document alone, often is how managers and talent teams decide wether to get to know a candidate better, and they are often sorting through tens, sometimes hundreds, of resumes. So, how do you ensure yours stands out.

Clean, simple, and packed full of the right information (but not too much information), is the key to an excellent resume. This guide will help you craft your next resume, and ensure you get that balance right.

Do you have a question about your placement, our FAQs nay have the answer. If you still need help, contact our team for help.

You will receive an email from InternMatch early June asking you to book in for your initial consultation. Check you spam and ensure you save our email as a contact as we’ll be sending you a lot of important content over your journey.

Once you have booked in for your consultation, you will receive login information to the InternMatch platform. We will send you information and instruction videos on the platform, to help you to create your profile and record your InternMatch profile video.

It’s important your resume and LinkedIn are up to date, as prospective host companies will be looking at these when considering you for a placement. Access our resume template and attend our webinar to make sure your resume and LinkedIn are correct.

Our team works constantly to match candidates and businesses to ensure a suitable match for everyone. Candidates who are not placed within a reasonable time after completing their training are continued to be put forward between rounds and prioritised for placement during subsequent rounds.

Candidates will have the opportunity to put their preferences forward. Our team will do their best to work with candidates and businesses to ensure a suitable match for everyone. However, it a decision for the program’s host organisations as to which candidates they interview and employ.

If candidates have a particular organisation for which they would like to work, they are welcome to approach that organisation themselves, to seek a placement. If successful, that host organisation would be eligible for the program’s host subsidy.
